Josie Bisto
Josie Bisto began her songwriting career in the commercial country market after moving to Nashville in 2015. With a poetic writing style heavy on rhymes and alliteration, her songs have been played on numerous stations and stages; including the world-renowned Grand Ole Opry, The Bluebird Cafe and Time Square. A pop song she led writing, “My Kinda People” has amassed over 2,500,000 streams across platforms. Her growing list of accolades include The John Lennon Songwriting Contest - Grand Prize & finalist (x2), NSAI Song Contest Winner and International Songwriting Competition finalist along with being nominated for “Songwriter of the Year” for the past two years by the Josie Music Awards.
With music featured on shows like Heartland, Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, Married At First Sight, The Ultimatum: Queer Love and Below Deck: Down Under, Josie’s varied sync catalog boasts over 175 one-stop fully mastered tracks. Growing up she listened to everything from rap to country; crediting her vast musical interests to her ability to seamlessly transition between genres when writing.
Beyond the lyrics, Josie often has a hand in release planning, album art, photo shoots and social content for the artists she works with; including the development and launch of husband AJ Bisto’s “Key of G live!”, a Tribute to Garth Brooks!
